Share the Love …Sarah Jamison’s Story

Nov 13, 2018

I had the privilege of meeting Sarah at training this week at our Support Center and was blown away by her love for the industry and her passion for developing people. She is so funny and has ton of personality! I though you all might enjoy her story!

Hey y ‘all! My name is Sarah Jamison and I am a SCI Area Coach. As a coach, I am responsible 21 stores across three states and I help them with technical and operational training, as well as just being a cheerleader for them. I have always wanted to be in the beauty industry, but with all of the feedback from so many people about how you cannot have a real career doing hair, I decided I would go to college. While in college, I quickly realized it was not my passion. I wasn’t happy and felt as if I was just going through the motions. I dropped out and decided to follow my dream and enrolled in cosmetology school and loved every minute of it from the very beginning.

While I was in school I got a position as coordinator at my local Sport Clips to get my foot in the door in the industry, but honestly had no plans of working for Sport Clips long-term. Well, Sport Clips quickly changed my mind. The culture and people drew me in and I wouldn’t have it any other way. In addition to the great work atmosphere, Sport Clips also supports so many charitable organizations, which is really important to me. My personal favorite is the VFW’s Sport Clips Help A Hero Scholarship program.  As a military wife, I really value people and companies that help military families. The opportunities that this company allows not just for Team Members, but for the countless people it impacts through its philanthropic work, are limitless. I never in a million years thought I would be where I am today and I am so thankful I have been given this opportunity! #SportClipsStory
