Over the past few years, the gap between barbers and cosmetologists has become lessened and our industry is seeing more collaborative efforts in barbers and cosmetologists working together and learning from one another. We now see many individuals getting both licenses and training who are seeing great success in this industry. Events such as Babercon, Premiere and America’s Beauty Show hair shows have featured both barbers and cosmetologists to show us that working side by side is a beautiful thing.
